meet Jenný

Jenný Guðmundsdóttir (pronounced Good-Moon’s-Daughter) is an Icelandic actress and singer based in New York City. She studies acting at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy and is on track to finish a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting in 2026.

Recently, Jenný has been specializing in the works of classic American playwrights such as Clifford Odets and John Patrick Shanley, and classical playwrights such as Shakespeare and Sophocles. Recent roles include Creon in Sophocles’ Antigone, Malvolio in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night, and Lorna Moon in Odets’ Golden Boy

Jenný has a high level of proficiency in piano playing and singing, and has a big passion for musical theater, voice acting, and stage combat. She is excited to explore opportunities that allow her to dive deeper into her passions in the coming years.
