meet Jenný
Jenný Guðmundsdóttir (pronounced Good-moon’s-daughter) is an Icelandic actress and singer based in Los Angeles. Originally from the small town of Seltjarnarnes, Iceland, she grew up surrounded by music, performance, and storytelling. After moving to the U.S., she earned her BFA in Acting from AMDA, College of the Performing Arts, training in both New York City and Los Angeles.
Jenný brings bold energy to every project. With a natural pull toward emotionally complex and layered roles, she’s well-suited for darker, female-led dramas like Yellowjackets, Big Little Lies, and Mare of Easttown. At the same time, her sharp comedic instincts make her a strong fit for Gen Z-driven comedies like Adults, or for lighthearted, spooky projects like Ghosts and Goosebumps.
Her recent stage credits include performances as Mrs. Zero in The Adding Machine, Eva in Do You Feel Anger?, and Jenny in You Got Older. She also appeared as the face of international ad campaigns for Wake Up Reykjavík, gaining recognition in both commercial and theatrical work.
Outside of acting, Jenný is a classically trained pianist with a decade of experience, a professional singer, she speaks three languages, and because every story needs a fun fact she drives a stick shift!
Driven by curiosity, discipline, and a genuine love of storytelling, Jenný is carving her own path in the entertainment industry, bringing heart, humor, and originality to the stage and screen.
